Showered...

I just wanted to share a few pictures from our Joint Couples Shower with Abbie and Logan from this past weekend. We had a wonderful time. It was so good to get to see high school/college friends, dental school friends, and family. We were blown away by everyone's support and generosity! It was held at the Rader's house (Lacey's parentals) in Crestline. They have a beautiful home, and were so kind to open it up for the party. We played the Nearlywed game against Abbie and Logan. Dr. Dave Rader was the host, and was hysterical! I got some right, missed a few (like Jame's favorite fruit...APPLE!) but it was all in fun...All of the hostesses did an awesome job, and worked sooo HARD. So thank you each so much, you are the BEST!!

Boot Camp

I started Boot Camp this morning. I have mixed feelings about this. It is a great challenging workout, but at 5:30 in the AM. I am a morning person, but it can be hard to get moving at 5:00 am (especially when it is 32 degrees outside). My favorite part of bootcamp is the variety. Each day brings a different workout. Today was cardio/strength intervals. We did alot of jumping rope and squats/lunges/ pushups. I can feel the soreness coming on. I also love the intensity of it. I have a hard time pushing myself. I tend to get in a workout rut where I do the same thing over and over, because I am comfortable with the routine. This definitely does not promote comfort. Anyway, just wanted to encourage everyone to shake things up with your workout routine. You might be sore, but that means its working right??

Townhouse for Sale!

Abbie and I are selling our townhouse. It has been a wonderful home for us the last four years. Abbie, Molly, and I have shared some great memories there. I hope our old home can be a good new home for someone else. Here is the listing... http://www.realtysouth.com/Listing/ListingDetail.aspx?Search=e76ff8e5-86ec-43cc-afdb-36e974bfd506&Listing=37423587&IRPAgentID=45537&Image=1&First=1&Last=8&pagesize=10&SearchType=geographic&ListingDistrictTypeID=&FirstLetter=&Sort=6&Cookies=&UseColorBar=false

For the Readers out there...

If you are like me, you LOVE nothing more to curl up on a comfy couch with a good book in your hand. If you are like James, then this sounds like a slight form of torture. I was organizing my bookshelf the other day, and came across some of my favorite books. I thought I would share them with anyone out there that is looking for a good book. Here are some of my favorites in no particular order...
Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell-classic, a must for everyone at least once
Redeeming Love-Francine Rivers-powerful story God's grace and love, and now I have an autographed copy (thanks Shelia!)
Swan House-Elizabeth Musser-set in Atlanta in 1960's, a girl's coming to age and the life lessons she learns
Same Kind of Different As Me-Ron Hall and Denver Moore-dont want to give too much away, but you will laugh out loud and sob in matter of minutes
Rebecca-Daphne de Maurier-first published in 1938, a classic romantic mystery

The list could go on and on, but I'll stop here and let James share with you his favorites:
Ummm.... books.... so i really would not recommend any books due to my lack of experience.
1. Bible - You better read it .
2. Prey - Michael Criton - engineering nerdy book only for the smartest of readers.
3. rich dad poor dad - any money book
4. www. auburnsports.com - daily short stories both fiction and non fiction.

Books are boring. So I recommend instead of being lazy and reading go outside for a run or activity.
