Delicious!!

I absolutely LOVE good food! We had a wonderful dinner tonight with my parents and sister-in-law Lacey at Hot and Hot Fish Club. I had a bowl of creamy squash soup, house made gnocchi with braised beef and mushrooms, and banana's foster. Gnocchi is one of my favorite things...warm rich potatoe dumplings. If you have never had it, you have to try it! It is fun watching Mac, my brother working and enjoying his passion. Thanks Dad for a delicious night! (This is not a picture of tonight's food, but another of Mac's creations)

Well here goes nothing...

I don't know why, but something about writing your first post is a little intimidating. I have had this blog space for awhile, but have not really been quite sure what to say. James is a little skeptical about the whole blogging thing, but in time I think he will enjoy it as well. I really just want to share from time to time what is going on with us. For instance, today we recieved some great news...James got accepted in to the Pediatric Residency at UAB. We will for sure be in Birmingham for at least 2 more years!! I am very excited and proud. I am so thankful for all of the blessings God has given us. I have been hired to work in Woodlawn for Christ Health Center starting in July. I will be the full time general dentist at the clinic. What a great feeling knowing that God is guiding us to work for his Glory! I hope you like the sunset picture. This is the morning and view when James proposed. PERFECT!!
